The Manong that would Always Sell Binatog in the Afternoon

When I was still in Primary School, after the school finished there would this Manong that would honk through the streets and sell Binatog. As I child I would rush outside and ask my mother for money and buy both of our servings because it was very delicious even with its simple ingredients.

The boiled white corn mixed with the generous shredded coconut and added with salt to taste is enough for me ear after school. Since we moved from my last home, we would occasionally buy it but because I have a sweet tooth I would add sugar and cheese.

This food holds most of my childhood because I ever so often eat it that it would feel unusual that I dont eat it after school.

It is a unique snack that may not seem all too delicious but give it atleast a chance to taste it to know if one would like it or not. Have a good aftenoon in eating Binatog and I hope you enjoy it as I enjoyed it when I was still a child.
